행운과 지혜를 상징하는 청룡의 해 갑진년(甲辰年) 2024년을 맞이하여 모든 분들에게 행운과 지혜가 가득한
한 해가 되시기를 기원합니다. 가천대 길병원 정형외과학교실에서는 제12회
가천숄더미팅을 개최하여 회원 여러분들을 초대하게 된 것을 매우 기쁘게 생각합니다. 12라는 숫자는 동서양을
막론하고 완벽과 완성을 의미합니다. 10여년의 기간동안 견주관절 분야에서 많은 선생님들의 성원에 본
심포지움 또한 많은 발전을 이루어 왔습니다. 12라는 숫자를 채우고 새로운 시대를 준비하는 마음으로
이번 행사에도 많은 노력을 하였습니다. 이번 행사에서도 최근 견관절 분야에서 가장 이슈가 되고 있는
여러 주제에 대한 논의를 다루었습니다. 또한 역행성 인공관절 전치환술의 세계적 권위자인 미국 듀크 의과대학의
Oke A. Anakwenze 선생님과, 상부관절낭재건술의 창시자인 일본 오사카 의과대학의 Teruhisa Mihata 선생님을 모시고 본 대학과
함께 Live surgery와 강의를 준비하였습니다. 바쁘시더라도
꼭 참석하시어 고견을 주시고 활발한 토론의 장이 될 수 있도록 많은 관심을 부탁드립니다. 감사합니다.

As we
celebrate the year 2024, the Year of the Blue Dragon, symbolizing luck and
wisdom, I hope it will be a year filled with fortune and intelligence for
everyone. The Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Gachon University Gil Medical
Center is delighted to host the 12th Gachon Shoulder Meeting and extend our
invitation to our members. The number 12 represents perfection and completion
in both Eastern and Western cultures. Over the past decade, this symposium has
achieved significant progress, thanks to the support of numerous experts in the
field of shoulder surgery. We have exerted considerable effort in organizing
this symposium, aiming to embody the completeness of the number 12 and to usher
in a new era. The event also includes discussions on various topics that have
recently emerged as the most debated issues in the field of shoulder joints.
Moreover, we have arranged for live surgery and lectures in collaboration with
renowned surgeons, inviting Dr. Oke A. Anakwenze from Duke University School of
Medicine, USA, a global authority on reverse shoulder arthroplasty, and Dr.
Teruhisa Mihata from Osaka University School of Medicine, Japan, the pioneer of
superior capsular reconstruction. We encourage you to attend, even amidst a
busy schedule, and share your valuable insights. Your interest and
participation are crucial in making this a dynamic and engaging symposium.
